I should get my whole collection out and snap some shots. I put them all in storag once I had kids, but I have all of the McFaralne series (except the AvP movie miniatures and the club exclusive hicks) and a bunch of the Palisades statues (Queen, Alien 3 chestburster, Warrior, and Drone).

Sounds awesome. I have a free photobucket account where I post my model kit builds. I'm 49 and grew up with Lost in Space and Star Trek. So most of my models are from those shows.

Photobucket is easy to upload to, and can be public, private, or even password protected.
Here is a link:

The Battlestar Galactica stuff is from the Sci/Fi museum in Seattle, but everything else is my stuff.

No. I wish!
I built a Revell Beetle, 1/25th scale, added weird paint, and eyes, and tore apart a mini umbrella for the legs. Kinda stupid, but I got my inspiration from this:

Here a link to a guy (Gil Hernandez) who did a perfect scratch-built Johnny Quest robot:

Guirec,
BTW: Been wanting to tell you I like your avatar (logo) picture. Even my wife said it was cool. And she hates Aliens stuff! Ha!

The toy line came out in the 90's. When I was younger and the Aliens toys came out, i was pretty confused in the decision to launch a toy line that is based on a movie that is not for kids and about 10 years old. I was totally stoked that they finally released Aliens toys. Since I was a little little guy, I use to use my GI Joes as Aliens characters. One thing that pissed me off was all the garbage Alien's and figures that were completely made up and not in the movie. I remember thinking "wtf is a snake alien?? Thats stupid" Understandable though...if kids think it looks cool, they want it. All about the all mighty dollar. I did have the Queen alien. That thing was pretty exact to the movie. I wish I still had it...I remember being in awe on how spot on it was to the movie because even as a kid, I knew most toy lines from movies were pretty shitty replicas.

I even remember the commercial they used to advertise..it had a clip of Vasqaz firing her smart gun yelling "lets rock"....really pumped me up big time. Another line of toys that were awesome were the Jurassic Park toys. Some of those dinosaurs looked killer. But that story is for another forum. LOL.
