Man that has to be best vision yet, you can't hide from that at all
Wasn't there something like that in the first AvP? They used it to see if humans were impregnated...which just made it even more stupid that none of the Preds noticed that the CORPSE that they were dragging back into their SHIP from the UNDERGROUND ALIEN FIGHTING YMCA actually had an ALIEN in him!

I don't think they really expected to be looking for an Alien in him after he just got shike babed by the Queen.

I think that was more like a x-ray vision mode to see through things (we could see even the human skeleton). The one used by the predator leader didn't actually make him see through things or through that tree used as cover by the mercenary hero; the real time distortions in that vision mode were spot on and clearly caused by the merc's heart beating.

Predator's actual deadliest weapon has always been Its mask; you hear fans saying It is the the plasma caster, the spear, the disc and blah blah blah...., It's the mask hands down

Ah. Well, I have yet to subject myself to the third film to see it in action.

Looks like the preds are catching up with the likes of Sam Fisher and Batman with sonic-type vision, eh?
