How many times have you watched Alien movies?

Now sitting in comfortable office chair (well, as comfortable as they can be) and thinking to open yet another beer and probably watch either Alien or Aliens movie once again. And then came in my head a rather silly question.

How many times have you seen each alien movie?

Just to kickstart confessions, I must admit that Aliens is pretty much now one of most times watched movie for me - considering that I'm fan of it for many years now and frequent revisiting of LV-426 is already way over 100 times now. I mean, I know all the text already. I can talk simultaneously what characters say while watching it ..

As the second comes first movie which I've seen probably like 20-30 times - usually while having a beer I want slaughterhouse not thriller in dark vent shafts

Third I've seen maybe ten times or so, but the Resurrection I have seen like .. 3 or 4 times, lol. Just to remind me how awful it is.

Of course, between these movies I've seen like well over 50 times Terminator and Terminator 2: The Judgment Day and ... first Ice Age (yeah, I like such cartoons ), what pretty much tells me I'm not really a fan of new movies even if they include sort of aliens or robots

What about you?

I've watched the Aliens movies for as long as I can remember, so I think I can honestly say I'm hitting a few hundred. (Thanks dad! ) Usually just Aliens, but I get the occasional urge and do a full Aliens view, including the some of the bonus discs ( mostly the Quadrilogy).

Couple times I'll watch the Predators, then the AvPs right after.

I used to watch Aliens the most as a kid. I got tired of watching that one so much and started watching 1 and 3 more.

Once I discovered Alien 3 Director's Cut, it became a sort-of favorite, if I could pick a favorite. So much made more sense in the Director's Cut.

I used to like Resurrection but have recently felt that it just doesn't explore universal themes the way the first 3 did.

I'm so excited for Prometheus! I really hope it ties in well with the franchise so Aliens-watching marathons have a new chapter.

Hmmm... can't say for sure. As much as the 3rd and 4th films disappoint, I still have to watch them through whenever I have a marathon (which is always the way I watch Aliens). But I'd have to say it's definitely in the double digits, probably around 20 times.

Aliens is the first one I remember watching persistently, and I watched it on a VHS until the tape was worn out. Then it was much later I picked it up on DVD as part of the boxed set. I prefer Alien 3 to Alien and Aliens to all of them.

Saw Aliens late one night on Fox when I was in 4th grade. Rented the first and third. Saw Resurrection in in theatres. Bought the Legacy on VHS with my very first paycheck.

I've seen 'em all dozens of times.

AVP once each. Barely.

I have watched it around 3 to 4 times I believe. It has actually been a while since the last time I watched.

This thread actually wants me to watch it again.

Aliens is my favourite, must've watched it over fifty times now. I even watched it thrice in a single day once. Watched the original precisely 29 times and Alien 3 somewhere close to that, 25-ish. Resurrection twice, and the second time I did, it was because I had no choice.

I watched them all the time as a kid. My parents forbid me from watching R rated movies but when ever I got the chance I would watch the Alien films, Predator films and The Thing. Even though Alien is my favorite film I must have seen Alien Resurrection three times as much. Not really sure why.
