Aliens: Colonial Marines

I absolutely love this game, granted the newer AvP is pretty good, but this one i feel still rocks. Granted the Aliens were pretty screwed over in it, but most of us can still make do.

One of my best memories was on the Auriga level, where myself and 3 other aliens ended up discussing how we could possibly win since the marines/corporates and preds had decided to go nuts and team up on us.

After all jumping down in the auriga's landing bay, we lured them (somehow anyways) to the bay and had one guy just run around at the bottom of the level to drive the Marines tracker crazy, while I and another slowly crawled over on the roof, while the last ran all over the Betty to help get their attention.

A predator tried to crouch jump on the betty (missed and died) while a pair of marines tried to use the walkway. I pounced on them after getting the drop, while the other one on the roof went for the stragglers at the door.

Eventually we all went together and cleared the level, winning it by more than double. Good times!

nice. Sucked it couldn't wall-walk or inner jaw people. I'm impressed, I sucked at it....Warriors life for me.

The point while playing as praetorian was all about avoiding open places; beign constantly patrolling indoor areas and corridors and raping all those you came across was usually an easy win. The praetorian was a juggernaut while beign indoor, you just killed everyone sniper nOObs included.

Hell, I owned as praetorian even in leadworks

Agreed, I miss AvP2, have to get back into it once I get my PC moved down here! A together we can PWN!

would be interested. Be a while before my PC (and game) get down here. But I'll let you know when I'm online if I go on for the odd bit of destruction.
