I have it. It fucking rocks, man. I'll never forget the day I was browsing B. Dalton in the mall and came across it. I think I literally gasped (keep in mind, I wasn't even a teenager yet!) and I did NOT stop bugging my parents until they bought it for me. I also came THIS close to buying an ORIGINAL Vasquez action figure at a flea market that same year (the one where she's wearing a red shirt and black pants, not the reissued ones they made of her and Hudson and O'Malley [whoever the fuck HE was...]) but the guy running the stand wanted $50 freaking dollars for it! Vasquez was ALWAYS my favourite character (still is), but I could not convince the rents to dish out THAT much money...

Harper Publishing is releasing a brand spanking new edition of the Aliens Colonial Marines Technical Manual. Here is the Amazon page with a May release date.

Hopefully the book will have more than just a new cover and pictures from the films that have since come out. I am hoping at least new drawings or more hypothetical gear and tech. Either way it's cool to have the book being re-released. If you cannot wait that long I managed to easily find several digital versions of the original version via both torrents and file sharing sites via a quick Google search.

I have to original book which I must say is quite a great resource for the Aliens universe but I agree with you about having an update with new material from the movies and books that have come out since it was released.
