Love that trailer, if pushing the date back means a better product then by all means push it back, better that than another dissapointing game that showed promise.

It's just that they've pushed it back soo much, I couldn't give you an exact count..but Musta could. And as I mentioned before if they put it into holiday time they will be facing heavy hitters. Pushing it into next year would be diasterous.

But I did have any idea....but I pray they dont do it: Release the game on Dec 21, 2012; the day the world supposingly will end (again). Personally I think its just the calender starting over... but ya.

Back on topic, the trailer does look very well done giving us the briest of glimpsesof what we can hope to see in the game. I for one hope the Aliens do go into the Air ducts ( if there are any left) because seeing that in the trailer instantly brought me to the movie which I feel is a good thing. Not to mention they did that almost all the time in Aliens; I personally feel that its kinda expected from them.

Dec 21st is too late to capitalize on the holiday sales. I'm be putting my money on Halloween, but that's the same day Assassin's Creed III is coming out, and I hope Sega isn't that stupid.

I'd say earlier would be better, but then you have it competing with Borderlands 2 in late September. Different publishers might mean that it doesn't matter, though.

Later than Oct 30th is a death sentence.

Hmm seems regardless of when it comes out it's got some competition. However, most if not all of the games coming out (well the big ones anyway) are sequels, while A:CM isn't technically. So it does have that working for it. Halloween would be an awesome time, but against Assassins Creed..geez.

Well if they stick to Augest I think they should hopefully ...more or less..somewhat...be ok.

Assassin's Creed sales are great, but they are slowing. It's hard to say what kind of competition there will be after a lot of people being ambivalent towards Revelation (I thought it was great, but apparently I'm in the minority there).

Either way...it's stiff competition for Halloween. Perhaps two weeks earlier would work? The main shooter competition there will probably be EA's new Medal of Honor running on Frostbite 2. Hard to call that one, too, because people largely reviled Medal of Honor, but running on the Battlefield 3 tech is gonna get some people interested.

Haven't played Revealations yet, but I am looking forward to it. I agree with you about Halloween, while a fitting release date, does have its own challenges.

Bioshock Infinite has been confirmed for October 16th.

Okay...I STRONGLY advocate that ACM come out in August or not in 2012 at all.
