A:CM - Dead Space Elements?
I Am Half Way Through Dead Space And I Have To Admit That Certain Things Made Me Jump Popping Out Of Nowhere.

What I Am Getting At Is That In The First Alien Film, When The Captain (Can't Remember His Name) Is In The Vents With The Flamethrower Sealing Off The Bulkheads, The Alien Runs Up Right Behind Him And Just Waits.

What I Would Like To See Is These Jumpy Elements Put Into A:CM. Obviously Not Full Time But Every Now And Then When Your Motion Tracker Is Silent And Everything Seems Clear An Alien Just Pops Out Of The Wall/Vent/Tunnel You Passed Moments Ago.

Maybe It's Just Me On This One But Either Way A:CM Will Be Great!

But yes I agree. Fear is SUCH a raw basic emotion that it makes perfect sense for it to be included here. Alien/Aliens is a "horror" movie as well as sci-fi (I often think Alien was more Horror and Aliens more Sci-Fi) so there needs to be "HOLY SHIT!" elements included in this for it to sit right with the Aliens fanbase.

As long as it's not the retarded shit that L4D is, I'm all for this. And I'm referring to how you check a bathroom and it's empty, then a few seconds later, around 40 fucking zombies spawn there. Seriously, dubba-yew tee eff? I'm okay with Aliens using the vents and stuff to get around and pop out of places to scare me crapless, but I don't want to see them pop out of places only reachable by teleporting.

Also, and I'm just saying, don't get me wrong... It would be much easier for people to read and understand your posts if you didn't capitalize the first letter of every single word. It would also be less annoying...

Exactly, Well Said, And Thanks For The Reply.

In The Films There Are Boxers And Knickers Filled With Skid Marks Everywhere. I Want That To Happen While I Play So I Can Feel For Myself What The Caracters Seemed To Be Going Through.

Without This Element It Would Seem Like Just Another "Bug-Hunt" Shooter And That Is Definately Not How I Want A:CM To Turn Out.

I LAUGHED my ass of so hard when I read that. Its so damn true. Thats AI Director for you lol. Anyways I am sure A:CM will deliver some very good horror moments when its needed. Especially for the times we will be working without a Squad.
