As far as it goes with both the Sephora and the Sulaco crashing into the surface of LV-426 goes, my guess is that its Weyland-Yutani again trying to cover up their mistakes by sabotaging the warships to crash and kill all of the inconvenient witnesses

im sure that dialog is in the new trailer when alien comes up behind the marine. I'm assuming the 'something' class boats are the carriers ships.

Its both ships, Sulaco and her sister ship. In the trailer you can hear the Marine giving a sit rep and says " Both Conestoga ships are down". So I'm assuming thats the Sulacos "class" if you will. So ya stranded lol.

As for the cause, he wouldn't be saying that anyway. A "sit rep" or situation report is a quick report of information getting passed on, so the the cause (for him and who he's reporting to anyway) isn't really important.

As for your other one SupaFlea (about the eggs in the Derelict), we don't know for sure if there IS a Queen on the ship. It's been speculated the ship is a cargo ship that carried just the eggs as the ultimate bioweapon that crashed on Acheron.

However, I wouldn't mind the idea of a Queen on the Derelict......

I dont think it would of been a ultimate bioweapon as such but a few things are known. if you remember correctly the eggs in the ship only reacted when Kane was in close proximity and "broke" the light beam that covered the eggs as he said the beam reacted when it was broken by his hand and the amount of dust on the eggs suggest a long time there.
Also if it was an ultimate bioweapon the jockey wouldnt have sent out a distress signal warning for no one to approach and warning of the danger. Perhaps the Xeno actually have some slave like purpose to the Jockey race of beings as they did for the PRedators. a ship with such a large qauntity of eggs reasonably neatly layed with a possible safety measure(The Blue Beam) and only 1 crew member transporting the cargo load. The only odd question is why a search party wasnt sent out by the jockey's race asuming the crago was the alien eggs if there was no queen aboard. The Chestburster from the jockey itself had to have gone somewhere.

Good points, and I haven't really thought about the Jockey's chestburster. That'd be an ancient badass Queen! Oh heres hoping.
