favorite character in Aliens

name your favorite character in the movie Aliens and the reason why,im going to start off with vasquez,why? she is more of a man than me lol,also,no ripley ,that women is a hands down winner,also the main character,so lets not try to name her in this lol

Definietly Ripley, but since we can't use her, I like Hicks, Hudson, Vasquez and Ferro, Also Bishop, and "The Bitch" herself, Her majesty, The Queen

I'm gonna have to go with ripley and deitrich. Ripley cause she is just a bad ass and I felt for deitrich and wish she had more time on screen. The times she was on screen I liked and since I am a bio major I feel for another medic! lol If not Hicks is tied with dietrich.

Most well played character in the franchise was Lambert, hands down, she should have been awarded an Oscar for such performance, just out of this world. Poor Lambert, being shacked up with Kane was not a good thing eventually hahah, and the new "kane" really enjoyed seeing her again lol. "Lambert's Torment" is perhaps the greatest and most iconic scene ever in the franchise, matched only by the last one aboard the Narcissus imho.

About Ripley, I think she acted better in "Alien"; getting rid of the lol female rambo crap concept that Cameron has always liked that much, plus Scott's little touch on her character was undoubtedly superior in any sense (he tried to make us hate her to death until half the movie at least, when in fact she was the true protagonist in the film, but you still didn't know till the movie almost ends) making the first Ripley a way better character than her "Rambo within" that was yet to come as soon as Cameron took over the sequel project.

As for the rest of the cast in "Aliens", I don't really know, but think Paul Reiser played Carter Burke rally good, so did Lance Henriksen when playing an emotionless robot; Ian Holm played Ash outstandingly, but Bishop was a really cool one in his own way too.

The marines?, all of them played their roles really well. I'd choose Hicks.

Sergeant Apone take Frosts Flame Thrower, Apone gives Frost the bag of ammo to hold, frost gets set on fire dropping the ammo bag close to where Private Crowe is standing, If only Apone took Corporal Dietrich flame-thrower who knows what would have happened!
