I'm betting ACM's campaign will be a lot better than AVP's human campaign, though.

Although, getting AI that works well in co-op without being too good or too shit is a tough call. I played HL2 recently and *almost* turned it off when playing follow freeman; especially indoors. "GET OUT OF THE FUCKING WAY!"

Hopefully Gearbox are playing a lot of Left 4 Dead; but even then the bots in L4D are not ordered around.

The L4D bots can still be improved, though. I can't remember how many times I ran up to a zombie as he just stood there staring at nothing. Other times it's too perfect and they know where you are before you're even close to them.

Maybe they'll use an idea similar, but tone it down a bit. I don't want a million bugs swarming in and ruining my lunch. Then again, that would make for a really exciting lunch...

Heh, I've never tried playing L4D with the AI allies so I wouldn't know how bad they are exactly, but I've heard from friends and other people that they aren't exactly ideal companions.

Not at all. They cannot carry molotovs/pipe bombs, they always get in the way of your bullets and go all ''WHARRGARBL! Stop shooting me!'', they effin' always disturb the witch, by the time they decide to pick me up I'm already dead and so on. The only good thing they do is killing tanks. And I mean just the killing part, 'cause of their aimbots, but rarely do they actually survive due to their Chuck Norris kind of attitude. "So what if the tank just threw a car at me? I shall not move."

ACM is the game that many of us have been waiting for 20 or more years since the days of the spectrum, then I have to say that I irremediably am looking forward to play ACM the most, but I,m aware of the popularity of the avp franchise over the alien franchise alone too (nowadays, not in the past), and I know avp will be played online more oftenly than ACM will.

Avp3 will be more succesful than ACM imo, but since GB have promissed that the gigerbug will be there, then I actually can,t wait for this game. I hope It is not a warrior with Giger,s skin and that,s all, I want to fight the same kind of alien seen in the first film from time to time in this game, just give me a break after killing wave after wave of mindless alien warriors please, I want to feel the horror of facing the true giger alien too, and if GB does this well, then ACM for the winner no doubts.
