I'm talking, of course, about the Aliens Universe here.
"Check it out. Independently targeting particle-beam phalanx. Whap! Fry half a city with this puppy! We got tactical smart missiles, phase plasma pulse rifles, RPG's... we got Sonic Electronic Ball-Breakers! We got nukes. We got knives, sharp sticks, bolos, nunchucks...we be doin' Indian burns...." It will be interesting to see what drawbacks are inflicted upon the smartgun operator in the game. I.E. limited movement, slower turning etc.

I'd hope so. The Sentry Guns are cool as. Being able to set them up to deal with an attack would be sweet.
