Look forward to reading it. Got some ideas tumbling around in my head for units and abilites for both Alien and Marine. I love the Fear aspect you've put in. Sounds awesome!

I haven't read the full one yet, just the teaser he gives us on Page 4 about the psychological aspects of the Giger Alien.

Sorry Raptor and Red for not replying you sooner. I promise tomorrow late you will have the new alternate MP mode posted along with the one old one you were also asking for.

Never think I was ignoring you boys, just wanted to buy some little more time, and rest assured this time I will keep my promise (though I know you won't believe me twice, but well I guess I deserve that after all this), tomorrow late maximum.

I know you will understand the fact that writing a comprehensive text which is particularly different to the old one in a language that is not mine (I have also tried to add maximum reading immersion for each unit this time before getting into abilities/gameplay and such, which has made the task of writing something like this a lot more complicated to me since your language is not mine) is not an easy task at all to me, because as It happens to me when I read a text in my mother language, constant gramatical/syntactic errors may lead the reader to get really pissed off/disgusted at the writer; i just hope you know I do what I can, and that I just seek you find pleasure while reading, that's my last goal rather than people like the idea or not; indeed, laziness hasn't been the only reason for me not to post It before.

The joke was that David Lynch made Dune right. Well after he made it, it was 4 hours long, and the producer told him to shorten it. So what he did is he took it home and burned it (apparently) and then started over. So I was hoping you didn't do that with your idea

Well, I'm re-posting the old idea you asked for and start editing the new one which could take me a while since there're still some things that I still don't see very clear and have to decide either I add them or not.

A L I E N S :

A recent human raid into our hive has ended up with our supremme ruler the queen being killed, and most of our warriors too. But the humans have made a fatal mistake, and the praetorian egg recently laid by our old queen has survived the exposure to their flamethrowers. Some of the warriors that survived the assault have dragged you in the form of this praetorian egg to another new location so that we can start again.

Now that you, the new purebreed is born, then we can start buliding a hive once more, and we are slowly growing in number again, but the humans are aware of our activities in the sector and will probably launch their final assault on us soon enough, and you still haven,t molted into a queen. However, when they attack, this time we will be ready, and they shall become one of our own, or die in the attempt.

Humans are coming, but It,s only a matter of time that you, our new praetorian and new ruler of the hive molt into a new queen, and continue with thelegacy of destruction of your predecessor, and when this happens, they will have no hope of survival.

M A R I N E S :

Marines, It seems that we didn,t finish doing our job on our last mission. New scaninngs of the area we cleaned during our last assault clearly show that there,s still alien activity in the sector, due to the appearance of a new hive. Our scientifics, in their effort to create a new and more effective biological weapon that finally let us to deliver a killing blow upon this alien infestation, have recently discovered that the already analyzed specimens seem to be some sort of "transbreeds" to this alien race, and due to this, they are still unable to create an effective weapon against them. They are starting to speculate about the existance of a "purebreed" alien that should carry the pure essence of this alien species, pure DNA strain that should allow them to create the weapon we desperately need. They too think this unknown alien should be the responsible of this new infestation in a sector that was supposed to be "clean" after out last assault, because they know after the experiments on this "transbreeds" that they can not run a hive by themselves, so the queen,s origins continue being a mistery
for us.

Also, they believe that this unknown alien type is should be somehow connected to the one we know as the queen. They have found out in the DNA of this huge moster that It was something different before that, and they also believe that is in that very state of the queen,s life when they will find what
they are looking for. Nevertheless, this is all speculation, but they insist that they have to be something more that the "transbreed" aliens we are usually fighting, and that this unknown alien should hold the key of the survival of the species, and the key for the development of our biological weapon that should finish them once and for all.

This is why you,re being sent down there once more sergeant. Find out why there,s still alien activity in the sector after your last mission, and see if the theory of our scientifics is something more than pure speculation. But beware sergeant, if their theory is true, then this alien should be like nothing seen before.

Kill It in case It exist, and collect one sample of this unknown alien so that our scientifics can develop the weapon we need.

MP Overview:

Spoiler:
This is a single MP mode, where the marine and the alien team will fight for supremacy during 1 or 2 two rounds. The whole match duration may differ depending on the ammount of frags or Xp set in a hypothetical menu mode. A duration of 30 minutes would be recommended for the first match in any case. The second round is not timed. (there will be a second round only when the marine team loses the first round).

This multiplayer mode is meant to be played on huge indoor maps.

In the first round, both teams will try to achieve as many frags/XP as they can. After 30 minutes, the first round is finished, and if the marines haven,t achieved more of these frags/XP than the alien team, then a second and last round starts but with pretty different rules, all of them explained in the marine-alien team sections.

The goal of the marine team is to prevent the praetorian player molting into a queen, if they fail on this, then there will be the second and last round with the praetorian player being a queen now.

The marine team is made up of 7 players:

-2 Privates
-1 Smartgunner
-1 Flamethrower marine
-1 Medic
-1 Android.
-1 Sergeant (leader)

The alien team is made up of 9 players:

-1 Alien
-6 or 7 Warriors (depending if there is a runner player or not)
-1 Runner alien
-1 Praetorian (Leader)

If there is no runner alien, then there can be one more warrior, but It,s not very recommended, and you will learn the why in the alien team section.

Until there isn,t one player ready to use his marine/alien class, the match can,t start. It,s necessary ALL units being played in game. A selection menu should appear on screen when there already are 16 players in the lobby. They will select their team, and the role they will be playing as in this strategic MP mode. Once they all have choosen team/unit, the match starts.

The key to victory in this MP mode is to master your favourite unit. Each one, no matter It,s an alien or a marine has his own and unique abilities and attributes that will requiere of your best skills in order to be completely mastered. If we combine this with the execution of a perfect team work with each member playing their own roles as they should, then your team should be unstoppable.

- THE giger ALIEN : (Introduction)

Very little is known to us the humans about the alien threat we are currently facing, but several reports coming from other teams send to erradicate other hives in another locations lead us to think about the existance of a second type of alien that can emerge from a human host, some sort of solitary stalker
that sometimes appears in the middle of the fray and spreads an unspeakable horror among our men breaking their morale. These reports also indicate that this alien class is very different to the kind of alien we are used to facing, the one we know as the warrior, doesn,t seem to be connected to Its
brothers or being under the influence of a queen, and worse..., Its methods.

These reports talk us about the dissapearance of some members of the team in very strange circumstances. It looks like this alien works alone, It,s definitely bigger and smarter than the other alien, It usually strikes when the team is with the guard off or when the fray is intense enough to somehow "hide" Its pressence to the enemy, and the worst of all..., about Its methods..., It looks definitely like a human according to these documents, so be
ready to face something more than the vicious creatures we usually encounter in any assault to any hive. That is all marine, good luck on your mission.

When an alien is born alone, the adult form will be significantly different in body design, colours, size and behaviour. A smooth and grey colored head and a black body indicates you are facing a loner alien, and this is no good news for you.

You are the alien, a creature born alone, a pariah. You live and die alone. You are not under the influence of any queen or hive mind, and thanks to It you,ve grown stronger and smarter than any other alien. Now, a fierce battle taking place in a hive near to your position among some humans and the aliens in there
has taken your attention, and you,ll definitely take part in the fray no matter the cost. You are a threat to anything sorrounding you. Let the human enemy know the meaning of fear, support your brothers slaved to their queen and demoralize the humans, but beware, the enemy here mightn,t be the humans only..., your slaved brothers don,t tolerate the pressence of any intruder to the hive, and you are an intruder too, so watch out your warrior brothers while you stalk the human prey,
or you may face severe consequences.

A B I L I T I E S


-Bigger in size, stronger, and definitely smarter than the warrior, you are a tough opponent. You are the strongest alien right after the praetorian and the superior runner.

-The human alien is like a human, this means you are bipedal. You are not as fast as your brother, but you,re strong enough to compensate this. You can wall walk, but very slowly.

-"UNSPEAKABLE HORROR" passive ability: You are a creature of nightmare, so You inflict morale damage on the human enemy. The nearest marines to your position will be affected by this passive ability, and they will suffer of significant damage reduction on their weapons, speed and accuracy. Keep stalking
them until they all get completely demoralized, making the job for the warriors much easier when they try to kill the marines.

-There exists a counterpart to the morale damage feature. Since you are an intruder to the hive too, the warriors won,t tolerate your pressenc. So, when the giger alien player is next to the warrior squad, or to a single warrior, a bar meter will appear in screen which, and will keep increasing as long as the giger alien player doesn,t leave the zone. the effect of It will be a decrease of the morale effect on the nearest marines, and when this bar is full, then the alien team will have their penalty too, and each alien player, no matter they are the prae, runner, warrior or giger alien will see the damage
they inflict on the enemy dramatically reduced during a short period of time. the bar will decrease as soon as the giger alien leaves, and makes Its way alone again in the war against the humans.

-You don,t show up on the motion tracker. You,ve already mastered the art of stealth.

-You are invisible to the marines unless you attack (you will have some sort of cloacking effect like the preds until you are spotted), moment when you become visible to him and to the rest of the marine squad.. Only the android can see you. If the android is next to their mates, you will not be stealthy, and the cloacking effect will dissapear. You still won,t show up on their motion trackers, but you will be visible to them in any case.

-You can spam certain locations in the map with resin, causing them to molt into infested walls. The infested walls are extremelly useful to the alien team, specially for the warrior players. The infested walls are one of the keys to victory. These walls serve to heal the alien warriors, and to use the
dead corpses of the fallen humans for impreganation, increasing they global score of the alien team, and adding more infestation points for unlocking some special features for team like releasing a pack of 10 dumb AI controlled warriors. Also, the infested make the scenary even darker, so the marines will
have to rely more and more on their shoulder lamps, and their batteries doesn,t last forever . Also, there is a cooldown time for this ability, and the giger alien player will have to wait some time before he can create more infested walls.

-The more infested walls you create, the darker the map gets. The darker the better for the alien team because because you all can see in the darkness, and the marines will have to rely more and more on their shoulder lamps and their android, as well as on their flamethrower in order to bring some "light" on the map
again by taking out this infested walls. If the gigerbug achieves to fully fill a bar meter (this bar will indicate in %), then the map will get completely dark.

-When attacking, you use the claws and tail (you can not pounce), but you can also grab your enemy; when you grab a human, you can finish him in many ways. each way implies one different type of quick time event (which will be always different, so there should be lots of different key combinations for the same "fatality"). more brutal finishers will requiere more difficult QTE in a short period of time while grabbing your opponent. Also, humans will have a little chance to escape you in case they are succeded in their QTE-counter, but just little..., they will have to be too quick, and if you succesfully perform one of the most brutal finishers, then their QTE-counter will be almost impossible to perform, but there,s still little chance to them.

-the health of the giger alien slowly increases while he,s not taking damage. You can not take advantage of your own resin and infested walls, that advantage is exclusive to the warrior players.

- THE ALIEN WARRIOR: (introduction)

The most common of the human alien types we have encountered yet. We can find this alien type into a already stabilized hive with a queen ruling them all.

Any ridged head like the warrior means It,s submitted to Its queen,s will. The warriors are telepathically controlled by their queen by some sort of hive mind, and unlike their solitary brother, they will defend their hive and queen at any cost, and will be hostile to any intruder to It.

When an alien belongs to a hive, the adult form becomes an alien warrior. A ridged head and a blue coloured body are Its main identity signals. You are the warrior of the hive. None can match your ferociousness. You are fast, acrobatic, vicious and not very smart, and this makes you the perfect queen,s bodyguard. You,ll submit to her will and defeat your enemies by any means necessary. Make a "Fireteam" of 6 or 7 alien warrior players and outsmart your enemy by unexpected attacks from unexpected angles by using your speed and acrobatic maneuvers, while your hated giger brother makes his alternate way in the fight against the humans and spam certain zones with resin creating new infested walls, walls that will give to your class lots of advantages in battle.

A B I L I T I E S


-You are not as strong as your solitary brother, just because you belong to a hive which contains hundreds of warriors like you (so you never were in the need of superior strength), meaning this that you will fight the enemy by using TEAM TACTICS along with your "fireteam" made of alien warrior players.

-You can wall walk fast, pounce the enemy, and you are pretty much faster than your brother in arms, but you are also weaker, and a bit smaller in size.

-Given that the warrior is the killing machine by excellence, you are a deadly opponent even in death. You,ll be able to continue fighting the human enemy even if you have lost some of your limbs, or like in cod4 (last battle upgrade), if you can,t reach one zone with infested walls, or you just want to quickly re-spawm in one piece again, then you press some key, you die, but the human team will get points for your death.

-Take advantage of the infested walls. don,t let the enemy to get one frag from your death, try to reach one of these zones filled with resin, regenerate yourself and return to battle quickly, your fireteam always need you to quickly return to battle.

-The infested walls can also be used to drag the bodies that remain in one piece. the warriors have some sort of venom allocated in their tailblades, and they use It to lead their victims to a comatose state, and then ready them to impregantion at the infested walls. In order to do this, you will need to
kill a human with the tail whip. then you,ll have to drag the body to one of these marked zones on the infested walls. If you succesfully drag a body to one of these points, then you score "infestation" points for the alien team. when the team reaches "X" infestation points, then the alien team should be able to
release a pack of 10 AI controlled alien warriors to give the team some support. these AI warriors will keep engaging the enemy head on trying to get some frags until they all are taken out. The infestation points are reset after this, and until the warriors haven,t dragged enough bodies to these points again, then the alien team will not be able to release a pack of these mindless AI warriors. you,ll be a vulnerable target by the time you are dragging a body, so you will need some support of your warrior comrades while doing this.

-The "Drag a body" ability is exclusive to the warrior.

-The warrior is the only alien that can regenerate Itself at the infestation walls, as well as recovering all health points.

-When the alien warrior last long enough through the time, It becomes a veteran alien warrior. the veteran warrior will be grey coloured instead of the typical blue, will be tougher and faster. the alien warrior player needs to get enough frags (or xp) in order to become one of these, and that should be lots
of frags (or xp). The warrior player who becomes a veteran remains like that until the end of the game. Also, the veteran warriors can drag bodies faster than the normal warriors.

-The alien warrior will be hostile to any outsider to the hive, and sadly for the alien team, this means that when a lone alien is close to a party of warriors, the whole alien team will get their penalty already explained in the abilities section of the giger alien. THE RUNNER ALIEN is the key to avoid this.

- RUNNER ALIEN: (Introduction)

The dog alien, a.k.a. THE RUNNER: When the host is a quadruped, then the runner class is born, a deadly creature designed to be the fastest of the aliens , and due to this, the dealiest to the humans.

The runner alien not only differs in body design to their human alien cousins. It,s still unknown to us why this is the only alien class that takes no prisioners, and even more strange, this alien eats the flesh of Its fallen opponents, something really rare when we already know that the aliens seem
to be some sort of living batteries, being their acidic blood one of they keys to understand this.

They are usually the first aliens we encounter when we assault a hive. they seem to be some sort of scouts, and they might telepathically provide information to their queen about the pressence of nearby and potential enemies, hosts or whatever, but this doesn,t have been proven at all yet.

Also, the body of the the runner seems to undergo a series of physical changes through Its life, which means you might be facing bigger runners than the common one we already know about, and we think that the fact this alien eats the flesh of Its enemies might have something to do with this process.
Nevertheless, no one of these hypothetical and so incredibly big runners has been spotted yet, and It,s all about specualtion in this regard, but in case they exist, then they definitely should be a fearsome enemy.

A B I L I T I E S


-You are the fastest alien, you can also wall walk and your pounce is the best of all, but remember, you are also the weakest, which means that stalking tactics are best option when dealing with the enemy. Take advantage of your superior speed when going through the vents and through narrow places and finish the humans with quick, before they can see you.

-You can spit acid. This is a short range attack, and the damage will depend on the part of the human body you hit with. If a marine takes a direct shot in the head, then he is dead; if you hit him in the chest or in another part of the body, and the marine has some acid armor, then the damage won,t be
that heavy, and if the marine is carrying an upgraded acid armor, then the damage will be almost insignificant. This ability has a pretty long cooldown time. Try to achieve headshots when using this ability, that will instantly kill any marine unit. Also, the acid spit will inflict heavy damage
on the androids, no matter you hit them in the head or in the body.

-The runner provides the radar feature to the alien team. this is a critical feature . thanks to It, the aliens will not only know the current position of the humans..., giger and warrior players will be aware of their own current positions so that they can avoid any "contact" and the subsequent punishment for the team in case this eventually happens. The alien team will lose the radar feature everytime the runner player gets killed,
and they won,t have It until the runner respawns again. Time for the runner player to respawn afer he has been killed = 15 seconds. Also, keep in mind that no runner player in the team means no radar feature available, and as you all can see, playing without radar here is nooo good, no no. The radar of the runner displays the whole map.

-the runner is the only one that can spot the mines placed by the android.. When you do, they will automatically dissapear unless they are level-2 mines. In this case it will take 30 seconds for this mines to dissapear from the map.

-For unknown reasons, the runner is the only alien that eats the flesh of its fallen enemies, which means that you can,t take advantage of the resin spammed by the giger player, and unlike your warrior cousin, you will have to eat your enemies in order to heal yourself up; this mightn,t sound as good as healing by using the safe zones with infested walls, but thanks to this system, the runner player will be completely independent from the alien team, while at the same he,s working to achieve victory like the rest.

-When you have eaten enough flesh of your enemies (a bar will be displayed on screen and you gotta fill It or something like that), your body will start mutating once more, and you will be molted into a superior alien runner. this "superior" runner is just what It sounds, you continue being a quadruped,
but now you are really really big in size. Also, you inflict double damage and your speed gets even more increased, but you won,t be able to wall walk or going into vents. Also, you will have more health, and the acid spit ability will not be available while you are one of these montrosities. when you are
killed, you respawn as a common alien runner again.

-The runner takes no prisoners, so It performs hardcore kills, meaning this that any human player finished by the runner can,t be revived by the medic. On the other hand, they also don,t serve as hosts any longer, so the warriors can,t drag them to the infested walls.

- PRAETORIAN (introduction)

As stated before, we know very little about the alien race, but when It comes to the hypothetical alien we name as "praetorian", then the only thing we can do is just to speculate, because we have never encountered It or something similar to It before. The point that leads us to think It or something like It should exist is the one that follows: our scientifics, in their effort to unlock the secrets of the aliens and help us to develop an effective weapon against them, have already discovered that all the aliens we already know until date are all tranbreeds, which means they somehow take the DNA of Its host and then mix It with their own, so the outcome is always something similar to Its host, but they can,t find in this specimens the pure strain we need in order to develop this weapon, so they are starting to speculate about the existance of another kind of alien that should carry the pure seed and essence of the species, some sort of purebreed alien that should represent the alien species as It is. Also, our scientifics believe that the queen is the purebreed we are looking for, but It seems this huge alien was something different before being a queen, because the DNA strain seems to be almost pure, but not at all. We need to colect
one sample of the previous state any queen.

The praetorian alien has been nothing more than a myth to us until date. we hope that in your next mission you can find out if this theory coming from our scientifics is true. good luck on your mission soldier, but remember..., if a purebreed alien really exists, then you should be ready for the worst, because if the transbreeds are the hostility made manifest, then we just can not imagine how hostile and dangerous this alien could be, in case It actually exists of course.

There exist two types of aliens, the transbreed (all the aliens that come from a host who has been infected by a generic facehugger), and the purebreed alien, the alien that comes from a different facehugger, the praetorian facehugger. The purebreed alien is represented by one single entity, the praetorian, and we refer to It as the purebreed because, no matter the kind of host It comes from, if It was infected by a praetorian facehugger, then the result will always be a praetorian.

The Queen lays one single praetorian egg during Its life. This egg and the praetorian facehugger inside carrying the pure embryo represents the continuity and survival of the hive, ensuring a new queen in case the current one is dead or killed.

The praetorian is the ultimate alien. It,s extremely resistant to most fireing weapons but the heavier ones, and the hostility of this alien knows no equal. We are dealing with the alien as It actually is, and this should be worst news ever. A B I L I T I E S


- was someone here thinking that the praetorian should be a sitting duck due to Its size?, you were very much mistaken then. The praetorian is a tank, but at the same time It,s quite a fast alien that walks on Its legs. The praetorian can not wall walk or go through the vents.

- The damage inflicted by the praetorian is so brutal that It actually deserves no further mentioning. Any human will be utterly destroyed in one hit, and this includes the marine sergeant and the android.

- The praetorian can spit acid, but the cooldown time is not that long like the acid spit feature of the runner. also, the range has been increased as well as the damage.

- The praetorian is the "commander" of the alien team. It has some passive abilities that will benefit the alien warriors ONLY, so the praetorian in a fireteam made up of warriors should be an excellent addition:

Praetorian,s passive abilities:

1) One of these passive abilities is the "HIVE MIND" connection. The warriors are slaves telepathically connected to their queen, or to their praetorian when there is no actual queen; the hive mind passive ability will significantly enhance the damage inflicted by the warriors next to the praetorian. If the
aliens win the first round meaning this that the praetorian is now a queen, then It won,tbe necessary that the warriors stay close to the praetorian in order to take advantage of this ability. The passive ability will spread all around the map

2)As well as the giger alien, the praetorian is a complete unknown to the humans, even to their veteran and powerful sergeants. Its pressence is so imposing that even the toughest of the sergeants might find out the meaning of fear for the first time in his entire life. The praetorian sightly decreases
the accuracy and the heavy damage inflicted by the marine sergeant, making of him a bit more vulnerable unit by the time the prae is next to him.

Praetorian,s active abilities:

1) "ESSENCE OF THE PUREBREED": The praetorian can use this ability when It,s taking heavy damage and can not flee that easy. Use this ability when you see yourself into one of these situations, and then the enemy will not be able to harm you for 10 seconds, time that you can use in order to flee and regroup
with a new pack of warriors. This ability can only be used once per match, so spend It well. If It hasn,t been used until the second round, and the praetorian player is now a queen, It still can be used, and the enemy will not be able to harm you for 20 seconds instead of 10.

2) "DEAFENING SCREAM": The praetorian, in the know that Its hive is being attacked by intruders, emits one powerful scream. This is like a call to arms to Its minions, the warriors. This scream is so loud, powerful and scary that the marine team will automatically be demoralized in case this active
ability is executed by the praetorian player. This active ability has a cooldown of 15 minutes.

If the alien team wins the first round, then the praetorian molts into a queen, and the true party starts for the marines. Packs of 10 facehuggers will be released to the enemy every 2 minutes. The facehuggers are pretty agile arachnid like creatures that will try to ambush the marines from every direction.

At this point, the hive mind passive ability will let the warriors to inflict double damage to the enemy, and this ability now ranges the whole map. The damage of the veteran warriors will now be extremely high, and their resistance to damage will be pretty high too.

The respawn for the alien will now take a bit longer, ten seconds to any alien class, and 20 seconds for the runner.

Every time the praetorian is killed during the first round, the marines will get 2 grags instead of one (or more XP).

If the queen is killed during the second round, the alien team is finished and the marines win.

-ALIEN VISION MODE overview: A mix between the classic navigation/prey mode is the way all the aliens see. the effects of the pheromones you are supposed to be smelling but are represented as a visible aura and the overall white screen for navigation are all togheter now. The android emits no pheromone aura so It will be harder to spot for ALL alien classes.


The Marine Team:

"M A R I N E S--------- Marine units and abilities"


Your marine unit has been sent down there to stop what we thought It may molt into a huge alien infestation on the zone. To prevent this, your squad will assault one of the hives that is giving us a lot of trouble. We have already sent two squads and they seem to be missing in action since they have not reported back yet. It looks like that an unknown type of alien that is raising the hive is the actual responsible of this mess. You and your team will deploy on the surface a.s.a.p. sergeant. Eliminate this powerful and unknown alien menace, collect an example, and find out what happened to the missing teams.

The marine team is made up of 7 players. there,ll be two grunts, one smartgunner, one marine carrying a flamethrower, a medic, an android and a sergeant. Each one has his own abilities, weapons, morale damage resistance, health points, etc. As the match goes on and the marine units get some frags/XP, they will unlock some new abilities and weapon/health/morale upgrades. Level-2 and 3 shoulder lamp battery upgrade is the only upgrade common to all the marine units but the android by the time they reach lvl 2 and 3. The shoulder lamp will become more and more important by the time the map gets darker due to the actions of the giger alien player, actions explained in the respective section.


- PRIVATE:

Basic USCM unit . A fierce combatant in any situation, and the most commom USCM unit in any squad.

Equipment: The Grunt carries one primary weapon, the pulse rifle, a pistol, and also can unlock a powerful shotgun in case he reaches level-3.

Upgrades (when achieving some certain frags/XP):

-Level-1 Private (you start as): Pulse rifle with no grenade launcher, basic ammo shells (basic damage), medium-low physical/morale damage resistance.

-Level-2 Private: Explosive pulse rifle round, AP pistol bullets, improved acid armor, medium physical damage resistance, medium morale damage tolerance.
Also, you have 3 hand grenades now per respawn.

-Level-3 Private: Grenade launcher attached to the pulse rifle, shotgun is now available, medium-high physical damage resistance, medium-high damage tolerance.
Also, your speed gets increased as well as your accuracy and rate of fire when shooting, and you unlock the fast reload upgrade too.

- SMARTGUNNER:

The machinegunner of the USCM team. You,re the slowest unit, but your the firepower and effective range of your weapons is no matched by any other.
The smart gun has the best range of all weapons, even more than the pulse, but It,s in close range where your weapon delivers maximum damage to the enemy, but beware, your weapon might cause the aliens to explode due to your brutal firepower at close range, so make sure you are wearing an imrpoved acid armor when this happens or you will know what a pleasant acid shower means. Unless upgraded, the SG inflicts little damage to the praetorian.

Equipment: The smartgunner carries his primary weapon and a pistol as a secondary one.

Upgrades (when achieving some certain frags/XP):

-Level-1 smartgunner (starting as): SG with no tracking system, still not THAT effective at long range, low physical damage resistance, medium morale damage tolerance.

-Level-2 smartgunner: SG with level-1 tracking system (similar to avp gold,s SG aimbot), improved acid armor, speed gets sightly increased, SM ammo inflicts more damage, improved weapon range. Low-medium physical damage resistance, medium-high morale damage tolerance.

-Level-3 smartgunner: SG with level-2 tracking system (LOL avp2 SG aimbot), ultimate acid armor (only the SG can achieve this upgrade), improved ammo (now this shells can inflict some serious damage on the praetorian player), imrpoved pistol bullets. High morale damage tolerance.

Smartgunners are chosen among the toughest marines. You,re a true bad ass. The SG has an ability that allows him to supress the effects of the morale damage for a small ammount of time in case your squad is suffering from a total morale damage..., use It when all your mates are completely demoralized so that you become (perhaps) the only unit (along with your sergeant) that can save your team in a situation where the giger player has
demoralized you all, and at the same time you are being attacked by the warriors. This ability needs 10 minutes of cooldown in order to be used again.

- MEDIC:

Who doesn,t need a medic when getting slaughtered?, the medic is perhaps the most important unit in the second round of the match (when the marines can not respawn), It,s a relatively weak soldier, and will always be in the need of some support, specially when he,s healing/reviving your fallen mates.
Protect this unit at any cost during the second round..., he,s the only capable of reviving your mates in case they fall. The medic is also the weakest marine and his morale damage resistance is also the lowest.

-Equipment: The medic carries his primary weapon, the pulse rifle, a secondary one, the pistol, a defibrillator to revive fallen marines and medic packs to quickly heal them.

-Upgrades (when achieving some certain frags/XP):

-Level-1 medic (starting as): Pulse rifle with basic ammo rounds, no grenade launcher, basic health packs/defibrillator. Reviving a fallen marine with the basic defibrillator will take 10 seconds. After a marine is revived, a stunning effect similar to any other FPS game (when a bomb lands near you for
example) will be affecting him for ten seconds more until he is completely recovered of It. This stunning "thingy" will affect the accuracy and movement speed of the marine until It dissapears. The marine will have too few health points when revived, so use some health pack with him so that he can fully
restore his health. Using the health packs when you have just revived him will also reduce the stunning effect of the revived marine, and will make It to dissapear sooner. Low physical damage resistance, low morale damage tolerance.

-level-2 medic: Explosive pulse rifle rounds, no grenade launcher, improved pistol bullets, improved health packs, level-2 defibrillator. Reviving a marine with a level-2 defibrillator will take 7 seconds. Medium physical damage resistance. Improved acid armor.

-level-3 medic: Speed gets sightly increased, you unlock the healing aura ability, and the nearest marines to your position get their health SLOWLY increased, level 3 health packs, Level-3 defibrillator. Reviving a fallen marine with a level-3 defibrillator will take 4 seconds, and the revived marine
will no longer suffer from the stunning effects when revived. Low-medium morale damage tolerance.

Remember, in the second round the marines can not respawn, so It would be a good idea to protect the medi player at any cost.

The medic can also revive the comatose marines been dragged by the warriors for their impregnation. The warrior will be extrelly vulnerable when they Its dragging a body, so if you spot one, try to kill It, and then revive the marine in comatose state. The marines already dragged to the infested walls can
not be revived.

- FLAMETHROWER MARINE:

A marine wielding a powerful flamethrower. All USCM squads always have one of this units at least. It looks like the aliens fear one thing only, the fire, so the flamethrower might be one of the most tactical and strategic weapons for the marine team if used properly.

The flamethrower is a relatively powerful weapon. Also, the flamethrower marine is the only one capable of destryoing the infested walls created by the giger alien players, and at the same time all the advantages these walls offer to the alien team (see the giger alien part of the alien team).

The flamethrower can maintain the aliens at some distance, so you become the perfect support option when the medic marine is trying to revive your fallen mates. Any alien but the praetorian will be set on fire in case in case the flames get to them, and their life will decrease while the flames still affecting
It. In case Its health points reaches zero while being set on fire, the alien explodes, and you know what happens in case It,s close to you.

-Equipment: The FT marines carries his primary weapon and a pistol as the secondary one.

-Upgrades: (when achieving some certain frags/XP)

-Level-1 FT marine (you start as): Basic Napalm ammo, It inflicts medium damage to any alien class but the praetorian (little to none damage), basic pistol rounds. Low-medium physical dfamage resistance, low-medium morale damage tolerance.

-Level-2 FT marine: Improved napalm and larger clips. The improved napalm inflicts more damage and can set the aliens on fire for a longer period of time; It also destroys the infested walls faster, and the range of the flames are improved too. Improved pistol bullets. Medium physical damage resistance
, medium morale damage tolerance. Improved acid armor.

-Level-3 FT marine: Best napalm ammo available. The aliens set on fire will die unless they quicly return to the infested walls to regain health (only the warriors can heal there, so the giger alien and the runner alien will die if they are exposed to this ammo). AP ammo for the pistol available. This
is the only pistol ammo capable of damaging the praetorian player.

- ANDROID : (I prefer the term "Artificial Person" myself.)

Like the flamethrower marine, all USCM squads have one android unit at least. The android plays a very strategic role too; Its the only one able to spot the stealthiest of the aliens (the giger player) before It gets too close to the squad, carries some tools that can interfire with the alien radar
feature exclusive to the runner, and also grants the marine team with the motion tracker feature, critical to know when an alien raid is coming (the giger alien player will not appear on the motion tracker).

Critical to know the movements of the alien warriors, praetorian and runner player, and also to spot a giger alien so that It becomes visible to the rest of the marines, the android, as well as the FT marine, the medic, and the sergeant, plays a critical and strategic role for the marine team in order to achieve victory and avoid ambushes.

The android is completely immune to morale damage. It can take heavy damage, but the acid will kill you faster than any other marine unit. Also, this marine unit can not be revived, and his respawn time when he falls will take at least 25 seconds. The android is very fast when walking and running when upgraded,
and can easily flee from combat in case things get too ugly.

If an android is close to the rest of his marine mates, stealth units such as the gigeralien will become visible to all marines next to the droid. Also, when an android is close to a runner alien, the radar feature of the alien team provided by this alien will be affected. the alien players will now see their radars malfunctioning, It will have lots of distortion effects and also will have sporadic shut downs. The alien team, specially the runner might be interested on killing this marine unit more oftenly than the others due this this among other things.

When the android is killed, the marines will not have the motion tracker feature until he respawns again, and that,s 25 seconds without motion tracker.

When the giger alien player excells too much in spamming zones with resin molting them into infested walls, the map will get too dark for the marines, and they will have to rely more and more on their shoulder lamps. The android is the only marine unit capable to see in absolute darkness without a shoulder
lamp. The android can use flares to mark some zones on the map. Use then when the darkness is too intense so that you can mark the infested wall zones to the flamethrower player, so that he can take them all out and restore a little the brightness on the map. Flares are also useful to mark zones to the team
when they are all out of batteries, and the aliens are coming.

-Since you emit no pheromones the aliens can,t see or spot you that good as they do with humans. This enhances droid,s survival capability when being chased or attacked.

-Equipment: the android carries a pistol only, the motion tracker, and one special tool capable of interfering with the signals that the alien runner uses to indicate Its alien mates where the enemy currently is. (the alien radar feature). Also, the android can place mines that can only be spotted by this
very same alien class. When the runner spot a mine, It automatically dissapears.

-Upgrades (when achieving some certain frags/XP):

-Level-1 android: Pistol with AP bullets (an damage the praetorian and can deal heavy damage on the other aliens). Level-1 motion tracker with short range.
level-1 mines: you can set just two mines per respawn. the level-1 mines inflict low to medium damage, and they will last on the map for at least 3 minutes,
then they dissapear. The mines dissapear from the map in case the android gets killed. medium physical damage resistance. No acid armor upgrade available for the android. the morale damage inflicted by the giger alien players doesn,t affect this unit.

-Level-2 android: Speed gets pretty increased even when walking.. level-2 motion tracker with improved range detection. Level-2 mines. you can now set a total of four mines per respawn. This mines can last at least for six minutes on the map, and can deal heavy damage too. Any level-2 mine spotted by
a runner will not automatically dissapear now..., It will take at least 30 seconds in doing so. You now unlock the tool capable of interfering with the runner,s radar, but as well as the giger alien needs to be close to the marine squad in order to demoralize them, the runner will have to be near to your
position in order to cause this effect on Its radar feature.

-Level-3 android: The android becomes highly resistant to damage (still weak to the acid), and the speed also gets a sightly improvement. Level-3 motion tracker with extremly long range detection. The tool capable of interfering with the runner,s radar also gets some range improvement, the distortion
effects on their radar will be heavier than before, and the shut downs will be more common.

- "THE" SERGEANT. ("look into my eye")

Any squad of brave colonial marine needs the most bad ass of the marines leading them to victory. That bad ass marine is the sergeant, the finest and toughest of all. Veteran of many battles against the alien race, the sergeant will lead the marine team to victory by using his passive and active attributes and abilities of a true leader. (on a personal note, I,d like the sergeant to be more or less like Apone was, a black person, pretty tall, and with big moustache )


The sergeant is very resistant to physical and specially to morale damage, has some passive abilities that work when he,s next to his mates, and some other active abilities that may help your team in the worst situations.


-Sergeant,s passive abilities:


1- When marines are close to their sergeant, the morale damage inflicted by the giger player will be pretty decreased, and their morale damage bars can,t get fully filled.

2- All marines next to their sergeant will get an accuracy bonus for their weapons. Also, a level-2 sergeant will increase the damage of the marines next to him. Also, the morale aura of the sergeant will recover the morale of the marines pretty faster than a level-1 sergeant, and Its range will be increased too.

-Sergeant,s active abilities:

1- "RISE UP MARINE!!": Use this ability with a marine who has been recently revived, and is still under the stunning effects. He will be ready to fight once more. This ability has little cooldown time, less than 30 seconds. This might be pretty useful if you need your men ready to fight in case some
alien raid is coming and some of your men have been recently revived.

2- "MARINES, WE FEAR NOTHING!!": Use this ability to fully replenish the morale bars of the nearest demoralized marines in one "click". This ability might be very useful if all (or most of all) your soldiers have been completely demoralized, or are suffering a lot of morale damage and are about to
collapse, and you don,t have time to replenish their morale with your passive ability before being attacked again by the aliens. This ability has a pretty long cooldown time.

Also, the QTE that the giger alien player can perform when grabbing someone will not be that hard for the sergeant. It will continue being very difficult to scape for the sergeant, but It will be a bit easier to him than to any other marine. If the giger alien performs an extremely difficult quick time event, then the possibilities of the sergeant will be as few as for the other marines in any case.

All passive and active abilities of the sergeant are already available since the begining of the match. It,s not requiered a level2-3 sergeant, but leveling will improve some of them.


-Equipment: Pulse rifle as his primary weapon and a pistol as the secondary one, as well as some hand grenades.

-Upgrades: (when achieving some certain frags/XP): The sergeant has one level available only:

-Level-1 sergeant (you start as): Pulse rifle with explosive ammo rounds, pistol with AP bullets, 3 hand grenades. Medium-high physical damage resistance, high morale damage resistance.

-level-2 sergeant: Grenade launcher attached to the pulse rifle, 6 hand grenades now available per respawn. improved acid armor. high physical damage resistance. The morale increaser aura of the sergeant has now a huge range, and the marines will not need (at all) to be extremely close to their sergeant
in order to take advantage of this passive ability.
