An idea ?

Like the idea but...
Some sort of infection game mode like avp3's infestation

Some sort of one flag game mode were teams swith to marines and aliens and the objective being the marine stealing an alien queen egg. Alien team having to defend the egg.( Capture the egg )

customization for the marine

No no It wasn't dumped by any means, just the opposite, I'm remaking It from the scratch. It's just that I haven't been living my best moments in life shortly after I "announced" (lol) a new version of the alternate mode. However, this spare time has also served me to re-make It, and even the aliens are going to see a new unit filling their ranks..., the alien "drone". Thanks to It I will be able to make giger's and the warrior better than in the previous idea. I'm trying to make this "drone" as faithful as Cameron's vision of It (the drone was supposed to be a smaller version of the warrior that he wanted to add in "Aliens", but eventually didn't make It to the big screen). The alien warrior will now be an extremely dangerous foe (as It should have always been), and the A L I E N..., I'm sure you're going to love at least one of Its new abilities..., what the hell, I'll spoil one of them, just one only:

- "SPECTRE": The constant psychological damage and influence you exert on the marines can sometimes make them seeing things that aren't really there, specially when
they are almost bordering on madness and are about to collapse (just a few morale points left), moment at which the thin line that separates sanity from
madness might break. This is quite an useful ability when the android is always next to his mates and you can not take advantage of your cloaking effect
in order to ambush them. Also, It can be be useful when you want to have some advantage over one or two marines tracking you, or who have suddenly spotted you.
This is an active ability which effects on the marines vary depending on the ammount of morale damage points left per marine unit.

The marines will see a false image of you (the cloak is gone once and while you execute this ability); this represents them having Hallucinations. The higher the morale damage,
the higher the number of false images of you they will see. A marine player full of morale points will see only one image of you (he'll see you and your
fake). A completely (or almost) demoralized marine will see up to 5 giger-aliens (you and 4 fakes of you). Fakes imitate your movements. When a marine
shoots at one fake, the fake will dissapear OF HIS SCREEN ONLY (not for the others who still could be having their OWN Hallucinations); this tries to
simulate a marine realizing about this false alien being only a hallucination of his. A fake will not dissapear from the screen of a marine player until
It's shot BY HIM since he is the only one who can see your his own hallucinations, not his partners.

This is an active ability. These psychological effects on the marines will last for at least 3 minutes when executed. The ability has a cooldown of 10 min.
This is just one of Its new abilities, but as you see, the A L I E N unit is going to be focused on pure psychological warfare, a weapon of terror, a living nightmare, leaving the housework and other things for the "Drone", helping me to make It even more faithful to the thing we saw in 1979. The warrior will be the ultimate foe believe me, I have come up with some great ideas for the Cameralien.

Marines will have an alternative leader to the sergeant, and the way marines achieve upgrades and a lot of things more will be something new when using this alternate leader. Also, marines with a sergeant in charge and the way they play has been completely changed as well.

The fighting arena will now have rooms and vents all around the stage..., the "tech-com/weapon specialist" has been responsible for this, but I won't say why yet.

I would like to apologize for the epic delay and thank you for your interest. That's very much appreciated believe me.

that is a really nice ability

so when you say these copies of the alien will act like the real one, does that mean that they all will do exactly what the real one is doing or will some run around and others be on the roof?

I like the idea that the aliens are using pure fear now, lol

It imitates all of your movements. For example, If I (after executing this ability) run towards you to kill you, and you on your screen are seeing 3 or 4 things like me (you are about to run out of morale points), then?, who am I? lol, you better win the deception contest before I'm on you. If I'm crawling on the roof, my fake/s will do exactly the same, although neither crawling nor wall-walking is very recommended for the Giger-alien player since It's a very slow alien, even more slow if he crawls/wall-walks, as It's already stated in Its own section of the old idea.

That's more or less the idea behind this ability, just decpetion, taking advantage of the morale damage you're constantly doing on the marines. The more morale points a marine/s has/have lost, the more advantage this ability will give you when dealing with him/them.

Obviously, not only shooting to the "ghosts" will reveal that they are actually false..., imagine that while I'm walking around (or just coming for you), there is one marine or any other alien next to me or to the fakes..., If a fake runs into something, an alien, a marine or even a wall, It will become "translucent", giving you a clue about what It really is.

All fakes are next to the giger unit separated from just a matter of centimeters, and imitate anything the giger alien player does.

This is an ability exclusive to the giger-alien, the one who I want It to be focused on "psychological warfare" now more than ever. Of course this is not Its only new ability, there are more.

This is one of the new abilities for the alien WARRIOR, who will become the warmachine of the hive, and has seen lots of his properties in battle and more things changed. (and this will be my final spoil):

- "BERZERKER": The hostility displayed by the alien warrior has no boundaries. "YOU DON'T SEE THEM FUCKING EACH OTHER OVER FOR A GODDAMN PERCENTAGE" might
not be a true statement in some certain situations, and the responsible for that famous and memorable quote could have certainly been very much
mistaken. The veteran warrior is an alien that hasn't exactly reached a superior status because he is more handsome than the others or something like that.
The warrior that becomes a veteran is a truly vicious creature whose aggressiveness, not only to the outsiders to the hive, but also to his own brothers
in arms is something that doesn't go unnoticed to all of them.

All those warrior players who reach the status of "veteran alien warrior" will unlock this ACTIVE ability; when executed, you will be allowed to kill one of your mates
(only warrior mates) that still haven't molted into veteran warriors (regular alien warrior players). His death will give you 2x the ammount of health
points you currently have (if you currently have 100HP, then you have 200HP now), and you now will inflict even more damage to the humans than your
current veteran status can deal, which is already very high. To be succeded when executing this ability on one of your mates requieres
a grab move+headbite animation. The ability must be executed before you grab and finish your mate; once executed, you will have only 5 seconds seconds to
succesfuly perform a grab+headbite on one of your mates..., if you fail and can't do in time, the ability will enter the normal cooldown state which
takes 3 minutes no matter you have been succesful on killing your mate or not. Assasinated warrior players will automatically respawn. Once the berserker
warrior is killed he just respawns as a regular verteran warrior again, but his respawn will take 20 seconds instead of zero. The warrior player that is ABOUT TO BECOME A VICTIM of one veteran warrior who tries to kill him can put up resistance and escape the grab-attack of the veteran by beign successful at one QTE that will suddenly pop up on screen.

Berzerker warriors can inflict some little morale damage on the marines witnessing the butchering on their mates. The more marines you kill in pressence of their mates while beign berzerker, the higher the morale damage on them.

I like it, just one thing, I think there should be a limit on how many times that veteran can use this ability on the same player.

ex: if the veteran kills player 1 (who is a regular warrior and sucks at QTE) 5 times, then the player might get really made at the game. so I think a limit should be put in place like 3 times per player.

That is just my opinion I think it would really help balance the ability

Of course what you've read on the spoil (including Giger's "SPECTRE") is subject to change, so will be the whole idea when posted; the idea behind this "BERZERKER" ability for the grey (veteran) warrior is to give him some sort of "Turbo" mode xD to be used from time to time previous exchange of the life of one of your still blue mates. (remember that the "victim" can escape the "murderer", you can bug out and call It even, or you can also be succeded at the QTE in case you were already grabbed).

I might sound a bit cruel towards the "victim", but remember that all those warrior players who molt into the grey and many times powerful veteran warrior, have done so because they have killed a lot of marines and earned a lot of XP, so they somehow earn the "right" to use this "incentive" no matter they have to kill one mate in order to take advantage of this. An assasinated warrior automatically re-spawns, he hasn't have to wait many seconds for It, and this isn't exactly a bad trade (for the alien team) since BERZERKER warriors will wipe out marines with extreme ease, believe me. BERZERKERS become stronger than the giger-alien (not than the superior runner or the praetorian), and have double ammount of HP at their disposal, so I think It may be a good trade for just the life of one mate who will re-spawn in zero seconds after beign killed.

I understand what you say about the same player beign 5 times killed in a row (for example) by the rest of their mates who already molted but he still didn't hahahah (or an even more irritating situation for him LOL), I know that could be difficult to stand, but..., nothing can be done in this regard imho.
