Well any weapon can be a Primary Weapon except for Pistols and Personal Weapons. And any weapon can be a Secondary except for Pistols again. Though you can not have two heavy weapons. Heavy weapons include Smart Guns and Heavy and Explosive Weapons. Also all Multi-Player features also apply to Co-Op. In Single Player everything is restricted to preserve the difficulty and development of the game as where in Co-Op you can change certain options just like in Multi-Player. By the way I think Game modes should be as customizable and even more customizable as to what we see in HALO 3. I have not seen one game offer that much customizablity and it upsets me because that is the reason HALO 3 has remained as the most played game because it offers the best Multi-Player.
