From Private until Colonel (check USMC ranks) the rank is based on your number of posts. Ranks above Colonel are special/staff only, and are given as follows:
- Brigadier General (1 star General) - special/VIP
- Major General (2 star General) - moderators
- Lieutenant General (3 star General) - global moderators
- General (4 star General) - administrators
- Commandant of the Colonial Marine Corps (5 star General) - site owner
