The only aliens capable of impalement with the tail should be the runner (second alien to have the imo kiddy and infantile tailblade), and then the queen which was the first one to have It and to use It for an impalement.

It does not say "impalement", it is called the "tail stun" and if your read on it talks about hwo this is the way the Aliens stun and capture their pray.
